Synopsis
Despite being a village lad, Gon has big goals. Gon decides to become a legendary Hunter like his father, against the objections of his aunt Mito. Gon encounters Leorio and Kurapika, the only other hopefuls who aren’t severely affected by episodes of seasickness, aboard the storm-tossed ship where the Hunter hopefuls set off on their trip.
Gon and his friends now have to prove their worth in a number of challenges in order to locate the illusive Exam Hall after surviving the perils of the open seas. Will they ever survive once they are there?
Background
The series has been serialized irregularly since 2006 due to Yoshihiro Togashi’s health problems.
