Land of the Lustrous

Synopsis

Every unique gem on the planet The Lustrous, which is populated by crystalline lifeforms, must defend their way of life against the danger of lunarians who want to use them as ornaments. The most frail and brittle gem, phosphophyllite, yearns to take part in the conflict. Instead, Phos is given the boring and futile chore of writing a natural history of their world. However, Phos meets Cinnabar through his new profession, a diamond that is compelled to live alone. Can Phos and Cinnabar find the happiness they seek via their seemingly routine task?
