The story begins with a notable event called the “Floating City,” where a luxurious airship, the Bell Tree, is unveiled to the public. This groundbreaking invention is known as the “Dream Engine,” as it possesses the ability to remain airborne for an extended period, revolutionizing air travel. The airship’s maiden voyage promises to be a grand spectacle, with important figures from around the world in attendance.
However, amidst the excitement, Conan, along with his loyal friends from the Detective Boys and his adult friend, Kaito Kid (Kaito Kuroba), discover a sinister plot that threatens the lives of the passengers and the success of the Floating City. The mastermind behind the plot is a mysterious terrorist organization known as Red Siamese Cats.
The Red Siamese Cats, led by their enigmatic leader, Tooru Amuro, hijack the Bell Tree, taking control of the airship and its passengers. Their objective becomes apparent when they demand an enormous ransom in exchange for the lives of those on board. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Conan and his companions must find a way to outwit the terrorists and bring an end to their nefarious scheme.
