Synopsis
On Planet Vegeta, the legendary home of the Saiyan warrior species, King Vegeta discovered a newborn called Broly whose latent might was greater than his own son 41 years prior. The monarch sends Broly to the barren planet Vampa because he thinks that one day Broly’s strength would surpass that of his son, Vegeta. Paragus, Broly’s father, pursues him in an effort to save his son. However, his ship is wrecked, leaving the two stuck on the desolate world for years without knowing that one day they would be saved by an unusual friend.
Years later on Earth, Gokuu Son and Prince Vegeta—thought to be the sole Saiyan race survivors—are hard at work practising on a far-off island. They are forced to go to a cold land in quest of the last Dragon Balls that grant wishes after their old foe Frieza makes an appearance, interrupting their combat. Once there, Broly, who is now incredibly powerful, and Paragus, who is one of Frieza’s new friends, are displayed. Gokuu and Vegeta face up against Broly, a fighter without equal whose anger is only waiting to be released, in a famous battle that rocks the planet to its core.
