The film begins with a brief flashback, showcasing the backstory of Garlic Jr., the main antagonist. Garlic Jr., the son of the evil Garlic, seeks revenge against Goku for his father’s defeat at the hands of Master Roshi, Goku’s mentor. Garlic Jr. gains immortality by using the Dragon Balls, which grants him incredible power and an undying body. He plots to take over the world, using his newfound abilities.
Meanwhile, Goku and his friends, including Krillin, Gohan (Goku’s son), Piccolo, and Master Roshi, are attending a martial arts tournament. While they enjoy the tournament, Garlic Jr. and his minions, the Spice Boys, attack and kidnap Gohan, hoping to lure Goku into a trap. Goku, alerted to his son’s abduction, rushes to Garlic Jr.’s fortress, with Krillin and Piccolo joining him.
As Goku and his friends confront Garlic Jr., they face various challenges and battles against his powerful minions. Garlic Jr. reveals his plan to open the Dead Zone, a dimension that swallows its victims, ensuring their eternal imprisonment. With his immortality, Garlic Jr. intends to rule the world from this parallel dimension.
During the intense battles, Piccolo finds himself at a disadvantage, leading him to make the ultimate sacrifice to save Gohan. He uses his own body to shield Gohan from a deadly attack, seemingly sacrificing himself in the process. Goku, fueled by rage and grief, unleashes his Super Saiyan power and engages in an epic showdown with Garlic Jr.
Goku’s Super Saiyan form proves to be too powerful for Garlic Jr., and despite his immortality, the villain is defeated. As Garlic Jr. is defeated, the Dead Zone begins to collapse, threatening to consume everything. Goku, with his incredible strength, manages to save his friends and escape the collapsing dimension just in time.
