Synopsis
Two years have passed since the Tendoshuu took over the O-Edo Central Terminal. The Yorozuya have since gone their own ways. Gintoki Sakata, anticipating Utsuro’s return, begins probing Earth’s ley lines for indications of the other man’s Altana. Gintoki returns to Edo after meeting the remnants of the Tendoshuu, who continue their quest for immortality.
Shinsengumi and Yorozuya regroup and launch an attack on the seized Central Terminal. With the Altana collected by the wreckage of the Tendoshuu’s ship in risk of exploding, the Yorozuya and their friends fight their adversaries while Edo’s—and the rest of the world’s—safety hangs in the balance. Shouyou Yoshida’s previous students reunite to relive their pasts, fulfilling their teacher’s desires.
