Haikyuu!! the Movie: The End and the Beginning

Shouyou Hinata, a youthful and impressionable student, learns to play volleyball after witnessing a volleyball match on TV in which the “Little Giant” of Karasuno High School assists his team in a hard-fought victory. Despite his tiny size, he aspires to join the volleyball team at the same school as his hero. Unfortunately, upon his arrival, Hinata comes face to face with “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama—a brilliant setter who he had previously defeated in middle school.

Because of their hostile first meeting and subsequent rivalry, the rest of the Karasuno squad forbids both of them from joining the club unless they can learn to work along as comrades. Despite their reluctance to collaborate, their desire to play volleyball motivates them to return with a suggestion that will demonstrate to the other members that they are capable of collaboration. As the two freshmen create an unusual setter-and-ace connection, an old rival school asks Karasuno to play in practise matches, reigniting rivalry between the two schools.
