Synopsis

Koyomi Araragi, a third-year high school girl, is helped by Meme Oshino, a peculiar man living in an abandoned building, to survive a vampire assault. Despite being freed from vampirism and being a normal human once more, some side effects, such superhuman healing power and improved vision, continue. With the aid of his buddy and the class president, Tsubasa Hanekawa, Araragi makes an effort to lead a regular school life.

Araragi discovers that his classmate Hitagi Senjougahara is strangely weightless when she tumbles down the stairs and is saved by him. Despite Senjougahara’s objections, Araragi urges he assist her, choosing to request the help of Oshino, the person who had previously assisted him in a similar situation.

Bakemonogatari follows Araragi as he tries to assist folks who suffer from supernatural illnesses via a number of tales involving demons and gods.
