The season begins with the Port Mafia facing internal conflicts and power struggles. Osamu Dazai, the former executive of the Port Mafia and current member of the Armed Detective Agency, becomes entangled in a dangerous game orchestrated by Fyodor Dostoevsky, the mastermind behind many of the events happening in Yokohama. Fyodor possesses an ability called “Crime and Punishment,” allowing him to manipulate others and plan devastating terrorist attacks.

As the season progresses, the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia are forced to cooperate to stop Fyodor’s destructive plans. They discover that Fyodor aims to obtain a mysterious book known as “The Book” that has the power to rewrite the world. The book is said to grant any wish to the person who possesses it, making it a highly coveted artifact.

Amidst the chaos, several pivotal events take place. One of them involves the ruthless assassin, Akutagawa Ryuunosuke, who is a member of the Port Mafia. He becomes a key player in the battle against Fyodor, showcasing his incredible ability, “Rashomon.” Through his character development, we learn more about his tragic past and his relationship with Dazai, as well as his struggle to find his own path and identity.

Meanwhile, the Armed Detective Agency faces internal conflicts as well. Atsushi Nakajima, the protagonist, grapples with his own abilities and past. He discovers the true nature of his ability, “Beast Beneath the Moonlight,” and learns to control it with the guidance of his mentor, Dazai. Atsushi’s growth as a character and his increasing strength play a crucial role in the battles against Fyodor and his allies.

Throughout the season, intense battles and intricate strategies are employed to gain an upper hand against Fyodor and his group, known as The Rats in the House of the Dead. The Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia are pushed to their limits, as they face not only Fyodor’s manipulations but also the terrifying abilities of his allies.
