Synopsis
Riko now has a White Whistle, enabling her to enter the sixth tier of the Abyss—The Capital of the Unreturned—after overcoming the severe difficulties of Idofront. Riko starts to scout out the unexplored territory where the remains of the fabled Golden City are situated with Reg and Nanachi.
The group quickly runs into deadly animals and perilous terrain as they begin to acclimatise to the tough surroundings. Their journey brings them to a settlement of bizarre creatures known as “hollows.” The three continue their journey despite the unsettling feeling that greets them in order to learn more about the settlement’s secrets and the long-forgotten histories of the intrepid explorers who once ventured into the terrifying depths of the Unknown Abyss.
